Les Ulis: police repression against the students

CLAP33 & Set resist

PROTESTS yesterday and today

The demo in question from Monday, October 18 was attended six institutions of 93 and 94 evening about 130 students and twenty teachers. She marched down the Champs Elysees without problem (singing) to Fouquet's, where riot police were waiting, surrounded them for an hour (with challenges), then framed them to the subway.

They met for a sitting (hyper peaceful) at the Bastille, with a workforce of about 60 students melted, and 5 adults. CRS were suddenly cut off the group into two, and boarded a half. In

that half were about thirty teenagers and a teacher (high school Romain Rolland d'Ivry). They were released an hour or two hours later after identity checks. That's what I know from my brother, Prof. Romain Rolland in high school, and has participated throughout the day.

Last Friday and yesterday, Les Ulis, riot police used plastic bullets against adolescents. A student (a child) was shot in the chest, a high school (one child) was shot in the back. The riot police used tear gas in the center of Les Ulis, where there were mothers with their babies (témoignange one of my former students). The headmaster of the school's Essouriau, Les Ulis (which is blocked since Thursday), takes photos of students participating in the movement and blocking the school. All this is from a reliable source (my wife is a teacher at school).

Today, I was in the demo, with my 6 year old son (as often), in the procession of students and teachers of 93 and 94. At the halfway point of the avenue, five men armed with batons came running and high school students were clubbed in the back before fleeing.

The whole thing took about ten seconds, caused a large movement crowd.

I found the 5 guy in question, an hour later, down the Goblins (it took an hour and a half down the Goblins), talking with helmeted riot police who were at the corner of bd Saint-Marcel.
