Charriol Bracelet For Women

T-Mobile Sidekick Slide

The good: The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide has a sliding screen and a more compact frame than previous models. The handheld continues to offer excellent messaging features as well as Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera and music player. He also works with MySpace Mobile.

The bad: The QWERTY keyboard Slide is a bit steep, and the camera does not record video. You need a microSD card to play music, and the expansion slot is located behind the battery accidentally. In addition, the call quality could be better. In

Bottom line: With its slide-up screen, the T-Mobile Sidekick Slide design offers a refreshing alternative to other models Sidekick. It's good for users for the first time, but irreducible Sidekick fans may prefer the more robust T-Mobile Sidekick LX.

Review:

Editor's Note: After the initial version of the T-Mobile Sidekick Slide, T-Mobile and Motorola determined that some units had problems with battery contact which caused the unit off after opening and closing the phone. Motorola has since found a solution to the problem and implement the existing and new models. If you have an affected unit, or for more information, please check our Crave blog post for details.

The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide is one of two new sidekicks (the other being the T-Mobile Sidekick LX) to makes its debut just in time for the holiday season. Unlike previous models Including the Sidekick 3, The Slide is the first Sidekick made by Motorola and features a more compact design and a slide-up screen. For most, the handheld offers many of the same features as the Sidekick LX, including excellent messaging functions, integrated Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera and support for MySpace Mobile. However, we found a slide QWERTY keyboard harder to use, and limited multimedia capabilities is disappointing. That said, we believe that T-Mobile Sidekick Slide is better suited for first-time buyers and beginners, especially with its label cheaper price $ 199.99 (with a two-year contract), whereas irreducible Sidekick fans might want to update the Sidekick LX.

Design The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide represents a couple of first designing the messaging device. Unlike previous Sidekick models, the blade is made by Motorola and not by Sharp / Danger, but that does not mean the company completely redesigned the device. In fact, the shift keeps the same overall design and navigation controls of previous Sidekicks, so it will be a familiar experience for all Sidekick owners past or current.

As its name suggests, the T-Mobile Sidekick Slide features a slide-up screen unlike previous models, which had a swivel screen.

The other major difference between the T-Mobile Sidekick Slide and other Sidekicks is the slide-up screen. Instead of a swivel mechanism, you simply press the bottom of the screen to reveal the full QWERTY keyboard. The sliding motion is smooth, cover and locks up a satisfying click. When examining the slide, I had a few people mentioned that they preferred design cursor on the screen swivel because she felt safer, I can understand. Although I have not heard stories of screens breaking on the LX or more Sidekicks, the lid can feel rickety and loose in its open state. That said, I personally prefer to watch Sidekick LX and the overall design. Obviously, this is a matter of personal style, but it's nice to have an option.

The screen measures 2.5 inches diagonally with a production of 65,000 colors and a resolution of 320x240 pixels, images and text looked bright and sharp. 4.6 inches wide by 2.6 inches high by 0.6 inch deep and 5.3 ounces, the blade is smaller and lighter than the T-Mobile Sidekick LX, Sidekick 3 and Sidekick iD. It features a hip and cool colors purple and black metal and has a nice, solid construction. The rear also has a soft-touch finish, which makes the handheld easy to grasp. We found the Sidekick Slide very comfortable and natural to hold while typing messages, but the bulky shape makes it difficult to use as a phone. It will also contribute to a tight fit in a pants pocket.

We found the keys on the QWERTY keyboard to slide a bit slippery and stiff.

The full QWERTY keyboard features circular buttons that are backlit and have a very decent amount of spacing between them. However, it is not as spacious as the one found on the Sidekick LX, and I thought that the buttons are a bit slippery and stiff to press. To the left of the screen, you have the launch buttons for Menu and MyFaves pages and a directional pad. This is slightly different than previous Sidekicks, this is a great rectangular rather than a small square. To the right there is a Cancel button, Talk and End keys, an OK button, and trackball navigator.

right spine houses a mini USB port and to our great disappointment, a 2.5mm headset jack instead of a 3.5 millimeter jack like the Sidekick LX. That means you'll need an adapter to use regular headphones with the device. Along the bottom edge of the handheld, you will find the volume rocker and a power button, while there are two function buttons on top performing different tasks depending on the application you are using . We found this last set of controls a bit hard to press since they are small and flush with the surface of the phone. Finally, the camera lens is on the back, and microSD card slot is located behind the battery cover. Having the expansion slot of this place is bad enough, but the slide, it is difficult to backup in the person entitled to a stop against the lower surface so it is difficult and awkward to insert the microSD card .

Not only is the microSD expansion slot located behind the battery accidentally, but it is also difficult to insert the card.

The T-Mobile Sidekick Slide comes with an AC adapter, USB cable, a belt holster, a wired headset, and reference materials. For more add-ons to the slide, please check our cell phone accessories, ringtones, and help page.

T-Mobile Dash 3G

The good: The T-Mobile Dash 3G makes improvements of Nice, including 3G support, GPS and a Camera 2 - megapixel camera. The smartphone features a sleek design with a nice keyboard Full QWERTY. Other highlights include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and many messaging options.

The bad: The 3G Dash does not understand the functionality of Inner Circle or the support of the AMU. The screen size is a bit small. The price is somewhat high compared to competition.

Ultimately: long time, the T-Mobile Dash is a 3G upgrade worthy of its predecessor with the addition of features such as 3G support, GPS, and an updated design.

Review:

Poor T-Mobile Dash has been pulling duty since October 2006 when he received a minor face-lift and Windows Mobile 6.1 update over the years, it is definitely time for the smartphone to retire . More importantly, T-Mobile customers need and deserve something more updated and it seems that 3G T-Mobile Dash is preparing to deliver.

3G is a version of Dash carrier of HTC Snap, which was introduced at CTIA 2009 and recently launched the Sprint. He brings a number of welcome additions, including GPS, better camera and 3G support - some thing missing at T-Mobile messaging above, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 . The design of the dashboard is also a lot better than the 3G model Sprint, boasting a slim design, a soft-touch finish, and a spacious keyboard. However, we are somewhat disappointed that the Inner Circle e-mail feature has not been included on the model of T-Mobile. Also, at $ 169.99 with a two-year contract, the price is a bit high when compared with some of the competition such as AT & T Nokia E 71x which is $ 100 and version Upcoming Verizon snap, the HTC Ozone ranging $ 50. Overall, though, it's a very nice update for current owners and all Dash T-Mobile customers looking for a quick text messaging. 3G T-Mobile Dash will be available starting July 8.

Design
Now this is the smartphone that we saw and admired at CTIA 2009. Unlike the slick, plasticky Sprint HTC Snap, T-Mobile Dash is a 3G device much more attractive for a number of reasons. The soft-touch finish on the back makes the biggest difference, in our view, giving the text messaging a more sophisticated look and feel of high quality. Snap Sprint looks like a toy next to him. La 3G Dash est aussi légèrement plus mince de 4,5 pouces de 2,4 pouces de largeur de 0,4 pouce d'épaisseur (par rapport à la version de Sprint à 4,5 pouces sur 2,5 pouces de 0,5 inches), and is comfortable to hold during a phone call or typing messages. The handset will also easily slip into a pants pocket and not weigh you down to 4.2 ounces.

We much prefer the design of the T-Mobile Dash 3G during the Sprint HTC Snap.

3G Dash features identical 2.4-inch 65000 colors QVGA (320x240 pixels) non-touch screen like the HTC Snap Sprint and its predecessor. Although bright and easy to read, it is far from the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 is sharper display, which has a resolution of 480x320 pixels. You may notice the difference as photos and text smoother on the Curve 8900, so you can see some pixels on dash 3G. We also hope that the screen is slightly larger to see more information at a glance. As it is, there is a little pad to display the messages concerned long web pages, or simply To see the different panels on the home screen.

On the positive side, the T-Mobile Dash 3G comes with a trackball navigator, which allows for scrolling and navigation of fluid compared to the traditional d-pad is on the Snap Sprint. Surrounding the trackball are the Talk button and end, two soft keys, a shortcut home, and the Back button. Layout with a row of these controls is spacious and clean, blend perfectly with the rest of the phone's design.

The QWERTY keyboard 3G Dash is easy to use with large buttons and curved shape.

The QWERTY keyboard 3G T-Mobile Dash is one of those we've seen better in this phone, style slate. A lot of times there's a bit of a compromise where the keyboard takes a hit to keep the phone slim and stylish, but HTC has managed to fit in a decent-size keyboard while maintaining a compact design. Even if there is not much spacing between the keys, the keys are large and have a slight curve to them so they are easy to press. They also feel strong and not quite as clicky as the BlackBerry Curve is. Finally, we like that the letters and the numbers are easy to read thanks to his trademark bold and red, and we always appreciate the shortcut keys on the bottom line.

To complete the smartphone is a volume rocker on the left side and a mini-USB port on the right that uses the power connector and headphone jack. We wish the 3G T-Mobile Dash was equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, as the curve, but at least one audio adapter is included in the box. On the back you will find the camera and the microSD expansion slot is located behind the battery cover.

The T-Mobile Dash 3G comes with an AC adapter, a USB cable, stereo headphones, an audio adapter, a soft carrying case, a recycling envelope, a software CD and reference material. For more add-ons, please check our cell phone accessories, ringtones, and the home page.

The Strokes T-Mobile Dash 3G brings a satisfaction that the successor of the T-Mobile Dash, bringing a number of improvements and new features. If the name does not already provide, the smartphone is 3G-enabled, offering dual-band UMTS / HSDPA (AWS Band Band IV & I) support. 3G T-Mobile is currently available in 130 cities and offers download speeds up to 1 Mbps and an average speed of 600kbps with a peak of 1 Mbps. Obviously still growing (T-Mobile plans to expand to 100 more cities by the end of 2009), it is good to finally see another 3G smartphone with the carrier. The only other 3G phones available are LX T-Mobile Sidekick 2009, and it's not exactly the ideal choice for mobile professionals, and T-Mobile G1.

In addition to 3G, smartphone includes WiFi, if you have an alternative if you're outside a coverage area or have access to a wireless network. Unfortunately, the Dash does not offer 3G UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access), so unlike the T-Mobile Shadow, you can not use integrated Wi-Fi phone to make and receive calls via wireless networks using T-Mobile Unlimited HotSpot Calling service.

The T-Mobile Dash 3G offers quad-band world roaming, a speakerphone, voice dialing, smart dialing, conference calling, speed dialing, and text and multimedia messaging. The address book is limited only by available memory (the SIM card holds an additional 250 contacts) with room in each entry for multiple phone numbers, email addresses, work and home addresses, job titles, and more. For identification of the caller, you can assign each contact a photo, a group ID, or a custom ringtone.

Like most devices of the carrier, the Dash supports 3G service from T-Mobile MyFaves, giving you unlimited calls to five contacts, regardless of carrier. Individual plans for MyFaves start at the $ 39.99 per month. You also get Bluetooth 2.0 with support for mono headsets and stereo Bluetooth wireless, hands-free kits, Personal Area Networking, Object Push, audio / video remote control, and more.

T-Mobile MDA Compact V

T-Mobile MDA Compact V (free on contract) is a high-end smartphone, which stuffs into a high-resolution touchscreen, a full set of features and connectivity latest.

Based on HTC Touch Diamond2 , it shares much of its design with its brothers and sisters, but has a unique style and updated software.

The 3.2-inch touchscreen is ideal when it comes to browsing the Internet or watching video clips with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels produce an image quality and crisp vibrant colors. It is easy to see even in bright conditions, and is used to navigate the operating system and entering text.

It is sensitive, proving accurate when a finger or tapping on links, but it is quickly covered with dirt and prints. Although it does not exactly match the best in class - in particular because of the screen being smaller than some of its competitors - you will find an on-screen keyboard very good.

keys are not the largest, but it compensates with excellent correction software has the ability to predict the words you type. It's not perfect, but we found it very accurate, which makes it easy to type at speed. Those with large hands should try before you buy, however.

The operating system Windows Mobile 6.1 is well disguised by HTC TouchFLO software , with large icons that are easy to use without having to use a stylus. It offers a customizable menu page - which can launch your applications Preferred - works well and responds quickly to stocks, helped by a 528MHz processor.

onboard memory - to 288MB - is limited, although you'll be able to add more via microSD cards.

The quality is good, although, unlike the Touch Diamond2 it is based, is made of plastic rather than metal. It is lightweight and compact, easily small enough to fit in pockets.

Although the buttons are kept to a minimum, you will find the call buttons and the end, and easy to use zoom bar at the bottom of the screen. There are also controls Volume on the side, but a button to activate the camera is conspicuous by its absence.

Excellent connectivity

As Samsung i8910 HD, Compact V excels when it comes to connectivity. 3G/HSDPA provides faster download speeds and Web browsing is a pleasure. It is easy to navigate web pages at high resolution rendering of images perfectly.

GPS allows the device to be used as a sat-nav with Google Maps is also supported. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both built, allowing you to transfer files to other digital devices and connect to wireless networks. The camera takes pictures at a resolution of 5 megapixels, with autofocus also integrated, decent pictures can be taken.

It is slow to respond, however, and the lack of a dedicated shutter button also allows little difficult to control.

MDA Compact V is a very capable smartphone, feature rich and offers ease of use. The slightly narrower keyboard does not fit all users, but it is definitely worth putting on your list.

Cad Plans Wood Burners

T-Mobile Touch Pro2

trackers, fans and casual observers of HTC as all know that when the company launches a new landscape QWERTY model is a big deal. In fact, it's more a big deal - it's a big deal. Many describe it as the ultimate smartphone form factor, the perfect execution of an entire modern device is capable of doing - and realistically, no company has as much experience or know-how to plant landscape QWERTY sliders HTC do.

Therefore the mass of subscribers is almost all are on the edge of their seats waiting for the Touch Pro2 is the press release. Whether you love, hate, or feel nothing but pure and intact ambivalence about Windows Mobile, it is difficult to argue that the Pro2 is not a smartphone beautiful remote and slightly twisted version - T-Mobile USA is no exception. Unless you are desperate for quality SLR photography (which you are frankly not going to do regardless of what phone you buy), the sheet reads like a dream - a wide screen 3.6 inches WVGA, full QWERTY screen Tilt, 3G and WiFi all you need, and HTC latest and greatest construction TouchFLO 3D is constantly working to ensure that WinMo Nice clean - but it is true love or just lipstick on a pig? Let's take a look.

Material
Inevitably, your instinct is to call the Touch Pro2 enormous. It's a natural thought given the phone's capabilities and its mechanics - the tilt mechanism - drag, for example - and your reaction might be even "Wow, this chunky" when you hold in your hand for the first time without any context. In reality, however, the phone is really not much bigger than your average smartphone. holding a Snap seriously puts everything in perspective - in the eye of your mind, the latest HTC WinMo Standard whole might be, for example, three-quarters the size of the Touch Pro2, but it turns out that the dimensions in height by the width are virtually identical and the additional girth Pro2 is not enough to freak out more. In fact, it is a millimeter thinner (more or less) than Pro Touch your average old, and it will slip into a pocket almost as easily as iPhone will . In this regard, the absence of soft-touch plastic on the battery cover is both a blessing and a curse - a blessing because there is less friction, making it easier to store and retrieve, a curse because ... Thus, soft-touch plastic is quite impressive.

That said, the Touch Pro2 is an important phone - you will not soon forget you're carrying. Although it 1500mAh battery pack from the factory, we were surprised to find out that the phone has not much lighter, and often remove the battery of a phone (or even a laptop) will do the rest of the electronic ball feel like a featherweight, but with the Pro2 it's just not the case. We do not know where this weight is going exactly, but we'll chalk it to quality construction, because the thing feels like it is built to last. The sliding mechanism - while not softer than we've ever used - did not play in this area whatsoever, even after much use and violin as well, tilting hinge felt as it was forged from pieces of surplus tank. The action on the two mechanisms is a little on the heavy side, but we'd certainly rather they are too heavy too light - like the rest, it contributes to the perception (and I hope that the reality ) quality construction.

Anyone concerned "version T-Mobile mocha" color, simply should not be. The brown color is subtle and subdued - T-Mobile HTC and are clearly aware that this phone has aspirations meeting room the minute he is born, and they were not about to screw it up with some bad decisions made in industrial design.

In fact, if anything, the phone too private enterprise. by comparing it to the unlocked GSM version, the variant T-Mobile loses tasteful chrome ring around the face and edges more places, making the phone almost look cheap in some ways (and cheap thing the Touch Pro2 certainly is not t). We also found that the stylus slipped a lot easier on unlocking Pro2, something we attribute to the completely different form and style of the battery cover (with the T-Mobile, coverage does not include the stylus hole, with the unlocked model, it does). On the positive side, the gains from T-Mobile version external access to the microSD slot - you must remove the battery cover if you unlocked. And anyone who often withdraw their microSD card must take a step back and take a long hard look why they do this - but at the end of the day, we prefer the ease of access.

The keyboard is excellent, and most users are happy to learn that T-Mobile version of the phone keeps the digital leased line, unlike some versions (ahem, AT & T) that seem to go in the direction of a numerical scheme touch of style. Tactile sensation is superb, the key separation is perfect, and we found that we were not typing with errors, making it the top-auto-correction is not particularly necessary. In fact, we are surprised how quickly we were belting messages.

Software

We do not superstition, but we have to say: unlike some phones in the recent history of HTC, it seems that they go out the door with a large ROM here. This is not crashy, and perhaps more importantly, it is fast. TouchFLO 3D is not the lightest piece of coding in the world, but this particular Pro2, it works like a boxer. In fact, we can not even remember once when we noticed lagginess with TouchFLO good - there were some redraw lag when browsing from time to time, but we can not really fault the phone for that (Snapdragon would have helped there, perhaps, but it is no use crying over spilled milk).

Learn TouchFLO 3D is how to load software for Touch Pro2, with a couple of very important exceptions. First, the launcher is myFaves home screen by default, replacing the ubiquitous clock display TouchFLO, which will be a little confusing for some, especially since we were not able to find a way to retrieve it. In addition, you can not get rid of reorganizing or even myFaves tab - it's just permanently stuck there on the far left. To be fair, T-Mobile has not barfed its brand image throughout this ROM, but we wanted a bit more control here. ( Updated: turns out you can actually get the TouchFLO home screen classic, but you have to go through myFaves settings, not TouchFLO settings - some intuitive, but at least it's there. L Skyler thank you,!)

As with other phones TouchFLO, HTC has done what it can to make the Pro2 finger-friendly. Inevitably, it is not possible to consider that his conclusion comes with Windows Mobile 6.1, which is why you still have that pen there - but they did an incredible job. If you can stay within the ecosystem TouchFLO without wandering stock WinMo - which is easier to do that all before, we argue - you might actually be able to remove it. Unfortunately, the phone is still hampered by a resistive screen that has a little too much "give" to the touch, which is mainly an issue with scrolling through lists and browsers, where the fingertip is sometimes a tendency to "bounce" on the screen and inadvertently trigger a selection action. It happened often enough for us to be boring, but we imagine you'd be able to tip the habit with practice.

We found it fascinating that HTC has chosen to launch Internet Explorer by default when you select the Internet tab of TouchFLO. Bad choice. The ROM also includes conveniently Opera Mobile, which provides a better experience from beginning to end, in fact, we were not even able to load the full version of engadget.com to an end with Internet Explorer, Opera, but Worked like a champ (as it usually does). Touch Pro2 dedicated zoom bar below the screen really shines here, seamlessly zoom in and out as easily and effectively an iPhone - in fact, we even found that we preferred the bar with a pinch gesture iPhone - style in certain situations because it makes browsing experience more than one hand.

T-Mobile has adopted a hands-off approach with the Touch Pro2 is praised "the people - centric add-ons, too. On contact, you can see a unified view of e-mails, messages and phone calls exchanged with this person - we dare you try this with a WinMo device stock - and it works exactly as advertised. business users will also enjoy Heavy wonderful speaker, who rightly HTC a huge deal back in his announcement February - just return the phone during the hire, and you even had a dedicated mute button around back (see video to see this in action - this is seriously cool). It works and sounds good, and is one of the few phones on the market that we could seriously argue that access to conference speaker for daily duty.

Wrap-up

For T-Mobile customers in the WinMo ecosystem, the Touch Pro2 is a dream come true, if for no other reason than the fact that it replaces the old wing, a phone that heroically served the lineup of detail and his time. Beyond that, however, the Touch Pro2 could very well represent the largest Windows Mobile device on a U.S. carrier available today - even the original Touch Pro Fuze and owners have good reason to cast an envious eye in the sense of this thing as it hits shelves today. Do not worry, though, the carriers will love this unit as they love a high ARPU, and regardless of who you pledge your loyalty and your monthly payment, chances are very high, it comes close to programming to you within a few weeks.
